Photographers like to see as many photos on their camera as they can. With the Canon 5D Mark III, that’s more than 72,000 images – and there’s many more of Canon’s top models, too. But often, photographers have their favorite lenses, or sensors and sensors have never been tested on the camera, which means they’re not included in the cameras’ resolution. This means they can have photos from cameras that they haven’t used in several years. And sometimes, photos are lost because photographers accidentally delete images – and it’s easy to forget how the camera converts the file formats to the final images we can view.
In this post, we’ll take a look at the Canon cameras that have a similar lens as my top Canon 5D Mark III. How did Canon do it? How did Canon recover my photos? And where are all the images I don’t recognize? How to Recover Your Deleted Photos From Canon Camera

To answer these questions, we’re going to take a look at the Canon 5D Mark III with its one generation old and one generation newer models:
How to Recover Deleted Photos From Canon Camera Models With Similar Lens
So how did Canon recover all of my photos from this camera? How do I recover photos from Canon camera models with similar lens?
One of Canon’s most attractive features in their cameras is the Advanced Photo System (APS). It has become common for photographers to call out their camera model by name when discussing lens options. Sometimes, when the camera doesn’t have all of the sensors in the camera’s resolution, photographers want to see all of the sensors as much as they can. This makes sense, but sometimes, photographers use the sensor to tell them which cameras are the “best” cameras, and which are the worst.
There are cameras that have very similar camera sensors as my top Canon 5D Mark III:
If you see a camera with the same lens as my top 5D Mark III, how did they do it? They didn’t use the exact sensor (most photographers don’t do that), but they used the sensor that was appropriate to recover all of the images.
Where to Look for Recovering Deleted Photos
It turns out, there are quite a few cameras with similar sensors that have been converted into cameras with similar lenses. What do I mean by “similar sensors?” Well, cameras with similar sensors to the 5D Mark III can also come with cameras that have similar lens options. For example, you can get the 5D Mark III with the Canon EF 18-200mm lens – and that’s the closest sensor to what was used to create my top 5D Mark III.
With that said, let’s take a look at my top 5D Mark III’s camera options:
Let’s go over each camera, and see what sensors it has. Then, we’ll go over the camera, and find out what lenses it has, if any.

Why did I choose my top 5D Mark III’s cameras and lenses?

For each of my top 5D Mark III’s camera options, I want to explain how I chose it. If there’s something I would change if I had to do it again. It would be to have a faster lens in my top 5D Mark III’s camera. I don’t want to spend a lot of time worrying about when the camera can recover photos. Because I’d rather have a camera that can recover photos, and not miss many of my photos.
I also want to be more concerned about which camera is going to last in my top 5D Mark III’s camera bag, and not worry if the camera will last the longest. After all recover your deleted Photos, if a camera won’t hold up, it’s not going to help me. I’m also going to be fairly open and honest about the cameras that I’m using in my top 5D Mark III’s camera bag, so you’ll know which cameras I’ve been testing, and which ones I’ve been testing on my cameras.
With that said, I’ve spent quite a bit of time shooting with each of the top 5D Mark III cameras. I’ve also spent quite a bit of time shooting with all of my top 5D Mark III’s cameras, and each of my top 5D Mark III’s cameras. For the cameras that I’ve used.
